Margareta Grahn lives in a red cottage in Ammarnäs and on the farm she has her workshop. A small wood stove keeps the heat in the workshop in the winter where Margareta creates her objects.

The handicraft has been in Margareta's life for as long as she can remember, her mother was her teacher. When Margareta thinks back, she remembers how careful her mother was and how important they were that it would be right. Of course we had to make mistakes but the important thing was that the end product would be capable.
